I know this isn't every girl's dream, but it's one of mine. I finally got my Royal Palm Turkey chicks! Only three were left when I got to the feedstore, but praise the Lord, there before my eyes were three little rare turkey chicks left...and I thought I missed them and came for bronze turkeys. ha!
I have wanted this breed for about three years. I type this with a big 'ole farmgirl grin *U* It's the little things in life, after all.
Oh, you funny lady! So glad you've got your heart's desire turkeys. They are sort of cute right now...but, since I don't really like to eat turkey,I'll let you keep your critters my friend :).
ReplyDeleteIt is the simple things in life that make it special, right?
Hugs,
Catherine
There is a big turkey running loose in our cul-de-sac... here... in town. She keeps coming over to snack on my bees!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your babies. They are so cute!
I'm jealous:) Is the coop getting more in today?
ReplyDeleteTeresa, yes the co-op gets their turkeys! I prepaid for four bronze/whites for eating! These rare breeds are for breeding and eventually eating.
