American Woman's Bible

The idea of this Bible interspersed with a collection of history bits on American Women, from quotes to short essays and more, is an intriguing one.

It was well done and the pieces are well- written but I have to be honest and say I'm not entirely sure why I would want to buy this Bible. I shared it with a few friends and asked their opinions as to its usefulness in their own lives and it was generally agreed that while it might be useful in a history class or literature even perhaps, it's not likely any of them were likely to seek it out and purchase it. These were other homeschool moms.

I think it might be a thoughtful gift for a history buff, teacher,etc.

I enjoyed looking through and my interest was caught and held by the history narratives here and there throughout the text. 

In the back are lists of biographies by page number, people and topics also by page number and a basic Bible Concordance. 

The front has a presentation page, table of contents and introduction as well as a preface to the New King James Version. 

As you can see the text is double columns and a nice sized font printed in dark blue. Headings look dark red to me.

Overall what's to complain about except I would have liked to see a few maps, but it's a nice, quality Bible.
