Monday~

It's Monday. It doesn't feel like one at all...
Today we start our new "house duties" chart. Each child is responsible for one room being clean. I mean dusted, floors, clutter, etc. Hey- they are the ones who mess it all up!
I need to make some special soaps- guy stuff. The man who leads our homegroup has a new website, an online tack shop (cowboy stuff) and he wants to sell some of our soaps and lip butters on his site. Fun! That means I get to design some more lables- which I love doing. Cowboy type guy labels.
I've got Jon Courson going this morning, an online audio teaching. Love that guy. He's such a great Bible teacher. The kids love him too. He's funny and tells rotten jokes in the middle of his indepth teachings- seriously good stuff!
We also are going to start "Heaven for Kids" by Randy Alcorn. My friend Gretchie bought one for her and one for me to readw with our kids. It's good, and pretty useful for opening up some good questions and discussions. It's so interesting to find out what's going on in my kid's minds...what questions and opinions they have and where they got those ideas- they have lively minds!
So today is Bible, soap, quad riding, and reading....tomorrow is Starbucks date with some other ladies, and probably more soap-making. Good way to start the New Year.
