I was sitting in the sunshine, admiring the bird's songs and the tomatoes & zuchinni I just planted, when I realized it's been awhile since I stated out loud how blessed I am. I live on a ranch where other's like to come and spend time. There's horses to ride, a quad to ride, archery and rifle shooting, goats to milk, and eggs to collect from my beautiful hens...it's green, quiet, and lovely here. God shows us the spritual in the natural realm first, and I always think of that now when I look out my windows and enjoy the peace.
I am very grateful to live in a home that I can share with friends. Here are a few pictures of a couple weeks ago when we had weekend company again.
"retun unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee" Ps. 116:7
"Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all" 2nd Thess. 3:16
"Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: They blessing is upon Thy people. Selah." Ps. 3:8
All good things come from God's generous hand. I am thanking Him today.
Makes me long for country life...now if we could just sell our house! Loved the pics:)
ReplyDeleteI think I had seen your blog quite awhile ago and stumbled across it recently. Good stuff! I'm in western WA and recently signed up to start a farmgirl chapter. In reviewing your blog, it looks like we have a lot of similar interests. Jon Courson is one of my favorites! We'll be heading over your way this weekend for a mini vacation. Do you have a storefront at your place for your soaps, etc? If so, I'd love to stop in. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi - just a response - got your email, ok for the 10th. Sure I'll speak. Do you think the topic of schooling with infants and toddlers would be applicable to this group?
