Aren't we exiles on the earth? Maybe we are exiles in our daily life, the physical, mental, or spiritual place we are living presently...

Life on DD Ranch

This is my life and I love it.

Spring and summer are the best...the ranch is green and bursting with life- there's always something to do or make, and I am never happier than when puttering around here watering tomatoes, mixing up some muffins, serving up homemade cheese and crackers, and milking a goat. Wandering the barnyard and finding a warm, just-laid egg and tucking it in my aron pocket...scratching a lazy horse on his warm, fragrant neck, and admiring a strutting, bragging turkey tom...there's alot I love about living out here, alot I'm grateful for and I must say, Lord, You did over and abundant, more than I asked for or hoped for.
