With a great sigh of relief I can say the old, nasty bathroom full of fungus and mold that got gutted in November is finally re-built! There are only a few finishing touches left to do...yahoo!
It's big and comfy- I can actually fit a bench in across from the new vanity where the old tiled garden tub used to sit. (unusable)
Here was the old vanity that had mushroomlike fungus growing out of it...
And here is the new vanity. I love it. The walls have since been painted sage green and the wainscotting has been painted cream.
We got Punkin back! Our puppy had gone missing and on my way to get a chest xray yesterday I saw her playing in a neighbor's pasture with her and her four dogs! I got out of the Suburban and called her over to let her know that was our puppy, and she was so relieved. They had determined, after asking all the neighbors but us, that since they were leaving for vacation, they would have to give her away that very day! EEK! We almost lost her for good. The kids had been so upset, crying when we couldn't find her. When the neighbor brought her back to my home for me, the kids cried again- for joy this time. God is good.
I love the new look...very refreshing...and sure glad punkin is back.
