All of life is an education....we don't consider that our best learning comes from a textbook. Sometimes and experience, a day with loved ones, or a great book can bring quite a revelation.
Our Homeschool's agenda for the year is on the left sidebar of my blog.
Our verse this year is Isaiah 58:11
"And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."
The kids in Idaho with their Great-Gramma
Board games at Great Gramma's table, which is now in our familyroom. It' swhere the kiddos will do their tablework in the mornings.
Wrestling older sister.
G. at co-op yesterday with Mrs. W, her teacher for the American Girl unit study class she is taking this year. She is delighted wih the co-op, and seems to do better with learning from other people. There' stoo much emotion involved with me teaching her I guess. I can't wrap my mind around the workings of the older chid who's been adopted from a 3rd world country- let alone one from a country where cannibals still thrive and voodoo is practiced at church and the "pastors" and "doctors" molest little children. She doesn't trust anybody, and I can't blame her. SHe doesn't trust me, and I guess I have learned not to trust her, too. God will have to work all that out, and in the meantime, she is safe, and just learning about being in a family is education enough for that poor little mind.
Nice pictures, I was home-schooled.
